Job Description for Equities Information Technology manager

To plan, direct, manage and oversee the activities and operations of the
Equities IT Department; administer the IT applications, staff and facilities
of the department.

Duties and Responsibilities
1.Management and support for Cash Trading systems and back office settlement
systems
2.Provide application support for Cash Trading, Futures and Options, and
their associated  settlement systems (XTRADE and XBOS experience are required)
3.Insure the IT systems comply with the regulatory and Compnay's policies
4.Local application system administration
5.Development and management of maintenance contracts
6.Management of the data center
7.Morning application and infrastructure system checks
8.PC and end-user facilities staging and installation
9.Procure of hardware, software and market data solutions
10.Production/BCP infrastructure systems management
11.Server Administration and User desktop support
12.Server, network, video conference, telephone, telecom and PABX systems
administration
13.Support of the Cash Trading and Back Office Settlement systems at BCP
site
14.Understand and accomplish the managements and users requirements
15.Project Management and implementation
16.Management and support for Futures and Options Trading, and settlement
systems
17.Planning and managing the Cash Trading/Settlements and Futures and Options
Trading/Settlement systems (XFUTURES and XFBOS are required)
18.Promote Security advocacy and insure security policies are enforced
19.Responsible for developing and promoting a Security Awareness Training
program
20.Insure the strategy of trading and settlement systems meets the business
requirements
21.Detailed documentation of existing systems
22.Management of change control and risk management
23.Comply with regulatory documentation requirements
24.Communication in both English and Chinese (written and spoken) is required
25.Ability to work with and lead a team is required
26.Must be organized and follow-up on all user requests
27.Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks
28.Desktop support

Skills / Attributes Required
1.Exceptional communication skills are essential in order to explain complex
IT concepts to non technical colleagues (English and Chinese are required)
2.Experience of managing multiple IT software support, technical support,
systems architecture etc.
3.In-depth knowledge of computer systems, applications, operating systems,
networking, and storage solutions.
4.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure
environment.

Salary range: 1.6 ~ 2M/ Annum
