一開始教授寒暄一下 問學生的performance順不順利 學生說OK 只是有點不
習慣場地(*room is bigger/ sound聽起來不一樣) 後來學生才開始問作業的
問題(*考題1. when does the student go to see the professor?)
Assignment 分三部分(其中第二部份是Essay有*考點: Essay內容) 然後老師
就說作曲什麼的(*why does the professor mention great composers? 因
為作音樂也要會表達 communicate) 然後也問學生做作業的時間會不會不夠
(*回放題, 教授擔心女學生做不完, 但不確定對不對) 學生說夠, 不用擔心
2. 心理學 小孩看電視有好處
正面影響Edu-program 影響 小孩時間長even they attend high school?
好的TV program其中和curriculum的制定有關
*考點: 提到toy> 商業性
*考點: Society behavior 不容易measure
3. 生物學 免疫系統T細胞
Mice 30% reduced diet > younger and healthier
Mocky T-cell 速率slow down> younger?
*考點: <Two answers>1 .對人類的影響還不能確定 2 ☹ 忘了/(其中錯誤選
項有 probably have different effects on human beings)
4. 學生做T-shit
訂衣服是因為辦party (考題答案:Science party/ major in Marine 的學生
活動中 have the T-shit an idea)而且要跟海洋生物學系有區別(stand
out)(?) 但是男學生(天文學系)忘記帶note之類的 所以他不能跟廠商說衣服
哪部分要哪顏色(which part is which color) 然後跟廠商問衣服的圖案
Front:八大行星是major; Back: Pluto是minor 然後解釋這個圖案是希望主
修不是天文的學生也來修天文的課=把天文當作minor的意思吧(?) 最後男學
生說他會再來找廠商一次

*考點:一方發生submerged 另一方不一定有 (?)

閱讀:學校要把學生宿舍變成 faculty house,因為老師沒地兒住。 聽力:學
生不同意。理由一、說那個 central area 很方便,又有咖啡廳啥的,老師們
又不需要,住在那裡 浪費呀。理 由二、老師在 town 裡可以找到更好的房子
,而且他們都有車,來學校很方便,根本不 care 你的 faculty house。

Plant has priming ability.
Task 5 J1 5-29
男生遇到困難,說找到了 off campus apartment,但一個問題
是離學校遠, 買二手車還是坐bus
Task 6 J1 6-25
科學家對 successful people 做了調查,發現他們都有制定 goal。然後就分
析 goal 和 success 的關係, 而這個 goal 要有 2 個因素才能導致成功

Tamarisk tree
太 多了，所以政府決定引入beetles 來消滅，但作者認為會造成幾個不良影
響，
第一 認為beetles除了殺了tranrisk trees 外，還會殺了其他植物動物。
第二，tranrisk trees死後，就沒有native tree能夠take over他得位置，
會被某種seed（不確定）搶走。
第三，會影響物種生存，flycatcher這種鳥會因此沒地方築nest。
整 合聽力：不同意。
第一，數量會balance回來。
第二，willow tree(不確定）會take over，而且因為他長很快，所以不會輸
seed。
第三，tranrisk trees對flycatcher不是個好居住處，因為他使flycatcher
容易被predators發現，所以flycatcher若遷到別處的 tree會更好。

Students get benefit from student organization or club activities
是不是 as much as their academic studies.
