for a second i felt
i was made of
caffeine molecules
full of excitement and
fear
of life and
people
i wanted to be
consumed yet
i also wanted to be
left alone
with sugar
so sweet i could just
numb myself
with pleasure
now i
don't care what
i'm made of
anymore
when things turn cold
so cold and bitter
