Over the next several weeks, we are introducing POP access to
all of our users. To make sure the feature is fully stable,
we're giving users access to POP in phases. Once POP access is
available to you, a 'New Features!' link appears at the top of
your account, along with a 'Forwarding and POP' tab on your
'Settings' page.

[路透舊金山電] 網路搜索巨擘Google周三宣布，Gmail免費電子郵件服
務的用戶不久後將可經由微軟(Microsoft) Outlook檢查郵件，或利用手
機等便攜設備查收電郵。

Google 表示，它將在今後幾周內，在Gmail增添POP(入網點，撥接節
點)。此舉將使Gmail用戶可以透過Outlook、Eudora等電郵程式或其他
支持POP的設備，下載郵件副本。

有了POP接入，Gmail用戶還可在離線的情況下瀏覽郵件。

Google今年春季推出了由廣告支持的Gmail服務，近期正在陸續替它增
添地址簿等功能。(完)
