有關合併日的通知


香港特區政府較早前已公布，九廣鐵路公司與地鐵有限公司將於2007年12月2日正
式合併。自合併日起，公司的正式中文名稱為“香港鐵路有限公司”（簡稱“港鐵”
）。

港鐵將一如以往，為顧客提供優質服務，包括閣下現時使用的城際直通車網上售票
及電話購票服務。隨著公司規模擴大和發展機會增多，我們期望未來向您提供更優
秀的服務。

Notification of Merger Date

As you may be aware, the HKSAR Government has announced 2 December 2007
as the Date of Merger between Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation and MTR
Corporation Limited.  Effective from the Merger Date, the merged entity
will be “MTR Corporation Limited”.

The merged company will, as usual, provide quality services to customers
including the Intercity Through Train e-Ticketing and Tele-ticketing
services you are using.  With the expanded scale and better growth horizon,
we look forward to providing even better services to you in the future.

推 starbuckser0:只有中文變了 英文的官方名稱維持原本地鐵公司的名稱
推 pfry19855:LOGO也維持原地鐵，令港仔鐵路迷為九鐵抱不平。
→ pizzicato:這樣所謂「香港捷運」就多了東鐵,西鐵及馬鐵,不知總里程
