Hi! 我是之前去當過 LE 的前社長 Charles. 還記得我嗎~? XD For your reference First of all, I really don't think it's a good idea to tell your audience you're now nervous--it's your business, and you're the one who is responsible for handling that. I also believe it's a better way to grow if you can somehow learn to cope with it on ur own. My British prof told me the east and the west have rather different perspectives towards quite a few things, say, to write or to say: "In this paragraph, I am going to talk about..." NO! Basically they don't do so. You just start to talk about things you wanna say. And always remember, to give a speech is to "communicate". Second, according to the other prof (American; teaches oral training at my department), you DON'T MEMORISE what you are going to say WORD BY WORD; you memorise THE MAIN IDEAS! I consider he had some senses. Anyway, 加油 :D BTW, I regard there should be no volunteer at Table Topic session. Good luck to ur mid-terms~ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.112.240.52
