Face of the Zoo & Train/Carousel News
‧ Zoo Membership Forms – Guests who would like to join Friends of the
Zoo when they are on grounds should complete a membership form at the
Face of the Zoo booths. They can then place it in one of the donor
tubes to have their membership packet mailed to them or take the
completed form to the Gift Shop to pick up a membership packet. This
is available for membership levels up to $100.
‧ Train & Carousel token cost for 2011 – This is particularly
important for Train/Carousel volunteers, but will be helpful for others
on-grounds too. Starting this year, we will be charging all riders on
the Carousel regardless of age. Children under 42" are still required
to ride with an adult, but that adult will now need to purchase a
token. This was done in order to meet increasing budgetary needs
on-grounds and was seen as a better alternative to raising the token
cost to $2.
