"With the exception of the South Africa game, and I don't
think you can count that one, we haven't swung the bat well,"
said Jeter.
The Asian pitchers, Rodriguez said, are confident enough in their
offspeed and breaking pitches to throw them when they need strikes.
"After baptism there, they teach them the splitter, I think, every
freakin' guy," Rodriguez said. "That's pretty challenging in March."
