Reports from South America suggest that Fiorentina are watching towering
Paraguayan defender Nelson Cabrera.
The giant stopper captains the nation's runners-up Cerro Porteno and has
broken into the national side.
According to La Nacion, Cabrera is a target for Fiorentina's transfer guru
Pantaleo Corvino [pictured] and is keen to make his name in the peninsula.
「Every player's dream is to play in Europe, but that can't happen until I
have worked hard here in Ascuncion,」 the 24-year-old recently stated.
Lazio are also said to have expressed an interest in Cabrera.
However, it is believed that the Viola lead the race for the Paraguayan's
signature after Corvino's recent scouting trip to South America.
