Napoli have signed Fiorentina midfielder Michele Pazienza as the January
transfer window nears its conclusion.
After a morning of intense negotiation between officials from both sides and
Pazienza's agent Vincenzo D'Ippolito, an agreement has been reached to allow
the 25-year-old to join the Partenopei.
Fiorentina bought Pazienza's rights from Udinese last summer after the Foggia
native spent the 2006-07 campaign on loan to the Viola.
However, after starting just three games so far this season, Pazienza has
opted to make a fresh start in Naples.
Napoli have paid around ￡3m for his signature and he has put pen to paper on
a four-year contract.
