Seedorf, Kakà; Inzaghi. This was the starting line-up for Milan European
Champions four years ago in Athens.
Today one of those, Massimo Oddo bids Milan and Milanello farewell. The
defender arrived in January 2007 from Lazio and made 78 official appearances
for the Rossoneri. The season 2008/09 was spent in Germany on loan at Bayern
Munich.
Oddo leaves Milan as Champion of Italy and proved to be an important squad
player, providing a fundamental contribution in one of the key matches of the
season, the 2-1 win over Napoli at the San Paolo. Oddo supplied the crosses
for both Milan goals, the first for Robihno, the second for Ibrahimovic.
One lasting memory among Rossoneri fans from the scudetto party in May at the
Olympic stadium was Massimo Oddo’s sprint around the running track. A star
turn.
