Hello, my name is Suz from AIESEC Seoul National University LC, AIESEC Korea.
I am the Organizing Committee President for the
INNOVASIA-youth4CSR-Conference in Seoul,
which will be held from 13th of July to 17th of July, this summer.
I got your email address through our friends in Singapore, who i met in the
RIPPLES Conference.
The Innovasia conference and the YOUTH 4 CSR project was initiated in the
RIPPLES conference, where i met your friends :) YOUTH 4 CSR is a CSR project
that we'd like to develop on, from this INNOVASIA Conference.
The initial plan we had, which was proposed by Delton Li from HKU, was that
this year we hold a global conference in Korea, and have two following
conferences in Hong Kong / Singapore, where the delegates in the Korean
conference could choose to go afterwards.
The altered scheme now is that we hold the INNOVASIA conference this year in
Seoul, and next year, Singapore Management University would hold a conference
on CSR : ) For now, The two conferences will be held in the "YOUTH 4 CSR"
brand.
What I would like to suggest you, firstly is to send your LC members to our
conference in Seoul this July 13th ~ 17th. I am attaching our Delegates
application material together with the facilitator material. Through the
conference, your LC members would be able to experience Korea, and get a good
learning about CSR.
Moreover, how about joining our YOUTH 4 CSR and planning some CSR activities
in your LC? I believe you'd already know, but we really feel that CSR is a
blue & hot Ocean full of opportunities : )
The benefit that the joining LC could get from YOUTH 4 CSR is..
1) Achieve LC cooperation and add brand value on your CSR events :
For example, you could provide better incentives to the companies sponsoring
your CSR event : their contribution would be exposed to all the other LC
members of "YOUTH 4 CSR"
2) Develop a sustainable contact with your neighboring Asian LCs :
In case of AIESEC Seoul National University, we have a sustainable
relationship with AIESEC TO LC of Japan, we visit each other every vacation
:)
3) Establish a Project Based On eXchange with sustainable cooperation :
If we could develop an on-line cooperation network on AIESEC, we could invite
all the LC s holding CSR TN/EP-ships, so we could easily promote & exchange
information.
