As far as I am concerned, the qualities of a good supervisor are profess
-ional knowledge and the great generosity of receiving others' suggestions.
This I explain with the following reasons.
In the first place, without professional knowledge, it is a difficult
thing for a supervisor to lead a company successfully. On the contrary, with
professional company, carrying out the scheme efficiently and leading the
company to a good future. In this regard, professional knowledge is an essent
-ial quality for a good supervisor.
In addition, a good supervisor is euipped withe the great generosity to
accept the different sounds from his subordinates. Hence, by taking others'
advice or critique, not only can a supervisor obtain precious suggestions, but
also he has a good chance to communicate with his employees. In doing so, a sup
-ervisor and employees make concerted efforts to make their company better.
To sum up, in my opinion,only if a person has professional knowledge and
the great generosity of adopting others' advice in the meanwhile, is he a
good supervisor.
As for as I am concerned, a good supervisor needs to possess two importa
-nt qualities. They are the sense of responsibility and the ability of coordina
-tion. What follow are the reasons and examples which support my opinion.
It goes without saying that the sense of responsibility is an important
quality of a good supervisor because he is at a leading position of a company.
He has to set an example on conduct to showhis responsibility so that the
employees will obey his order. If a supervisor evades the duty when he encount
-ers a problem, the employees can't completely accept his commands and will
cause the confusion if the company.
In addition, the ability of coordination is also an important quality of
a good supervisor when there are conflicts or misunderstandings among the
employees and even the departments, a goodsupervisor should use his ability of
coordination to settle the disputes and achieve the atmosphere of harmony in a
company. In this circumstance, the employees will get along with each other
well and dedicate their efforts to the company.
To sum up, the quality of the sense of resp[onsibility and the ability of
coordination are not sufficient enough for a good supervisor. He should possess
moreother important qualities to play an influential role in making profits for
the company.
