Goal.com http://0rz.tw/8c5gt Catania will not be impressed, but then neither was the judge who dished out a fine totalling €18,000 for all the weekend's trouble... Catania have been fined €15,000 for the unsavoury scenes which followed their 3-2 win over Roma on Sunday. The Italian sports judge Giampaolo Tosel dished out the punishment on Tuesday afternoon following an investigation into the trouble which broke out on the pitch. Several players from both sides engaged in unsporting behaviour and stewards as well as the police had to be dragged in to calm the heated atmosphere. The fine comes after the club failed to control too many people who were pitchside during and after the game. These included fans, stewards and club officials who, in Roma's as well as the judge's eyes shouldn't have been there. As well as this, an extra €3,000 fine has also hit the club for delaying the second half kick-off. Rossoazzurri defender Lorenzo Stovini has also recieved a one game suspension. The judge gave the club a warning with regards to future home matches. Any further troubles could see the club being ordered to play behind closed doors.
