Julio Sergio Out For Three Weeks As Roma Confirm Adductor Strain Injury

Julio Sergio faces a three-week spell on the sidelines after Roma confirmed
he has suffered an adductor strain in his right leg.
The goalkeeper had to be withdrawn during Roma's 3-2 loss to Panathinaikos in
the Europa League on Thursday, and while the injury is not serious, it isn't
good news for Claudio Ranieri.
A statement on the club's official website reads:
"A.S Roma S.p.A notes that Julio Sergio Bertagnoli underwent tests at the
Gemelli Policlinic on Friday morning.
"The results have shown a strain to the adductor muscle in his right leg.
"His conditions will be re-evaluated over the coming days, and he will begin
a rehabilitative programme today."
Julio Sergio is likely to be back in time for the game against Milan on March
6. Roma welcome Catania to the Olimpico this weekend.
