A PhD in education may not be a good teacher.
They told you how to be a good teacher, how to motivate students to learn,
how to make students to like you. They have theories that come from
a bunch of experiments. We wonder what would happen if we apply such
teaching methodologies based on thoes theories on university students.
However, professors in university might never evolve to learn teaching
skills without their contributions.
What I wanna say is that there's a good chance that a PhD in computer science
is not a good programmer. We know that.
I have no idea why a company would hire a PhD to be a programmer at first
place...
Use a cat to catch mices, not a dog.
Use a dog to hunt bears, not a cat.
