SEMINIS VEGETABLE SEEDS
Seminis, currently a part of Monsanto Company, is one of the world's largest
developer and marketer of vegetable seeds. We are looking for a qualified
candidate to fill an immediate vacancy in our Representative Office in
Taiwan.
Job Title: Technology Development Representative
Qualifications:
˙Bachelor's or Master's Degree in agricultural fields.
˙At least 3-5 years' experience in experimental field with a Bachelor's
degree, or 1-3 years with a Master's degree.
˙Statistical background is preferable.
˙Ability to use computer and standard MS Office applications.
˙Proficiency in English, written and spoken.
˙Good communication and analytical skills.
Job Descriptions:
Responsibility in the market development and pre-commercial efforts and
activities of Seminis Vegetable Seeds in Taiwan with the following
concentrations:
1. Systematic and accurate product introductions through trials.
2. Development of detailed, accurate and updated species that meet the
company's intelligence/technological requirements and evaluation standards.
3. Analysis and proposition of product opportunities and potential commercial
strategies derived from product testing and trials.
4. Coordination with research team to identify suitable products for Taiwan
market.
5. Regular updates of market information.
6. Field day arrangements.
7. Joint efforts with the sales team to reach sales target.
