去年美國正在播第五季時
我偶爾會逛去美國Six Feet Under網站的討論區
看他們都在討論些什麼
然後把一些我感覺蠻有道理的討論存起來 (雖然當時的我第五季一集都沒看過...)
剛剛在重新整理這些討論時
看到這篇 再回想之前的劇情
感覺蠻同意他的觀點的
而且突然感覺一陣涼意...

Okay, Nate and David's ride in the Deadwagon represents Nate's journey to
the precipice of death. Does the warmth of the ocean represent hell?
Nate Sr. does not want to go in, he clearly states "I'm not going in there!"
When he asks David if he is going in and David says no.
Nates ride in the wagon represent life (land) and death (water) as in the
title of the show - ecotone- the meeting of two eco systems.
Is Maggie the angel of death? She wears blue all the time, at the hospital
she is in black. She tells Nate on his deathbed, "See you soon..."
