Adam Lambert to Perform at the 2009 AMA Awards
Adam Lambert fans will get to a chance to see their favorite American Idol glam rocker on the stage of the 2009 American Music Awards on November 22 on ABC. What will he perform? It is expected that the runner-up will perform his debut single, according the Examiner.
The news was formally announced on Ryan Seacrest's morning show on Tuesday morning.
Adam Lambert so far has been the most talked about Idol contestant from Season 8, especially with his public gay announcement in Rolling Stone and the hype during the show that he was the expected frontrunner in the competition. Adam also currently has more pre-orders for his debut album than the show's winner Kris Allen. But does anyone find that surprising? Shouldn't have Adam won in the first place? Many of our readers think so.
Lambert will also release his first single "Time For Miracles" for the upcoming movie 2012. The song will be on the movie's soundtrack and there has been no word yet on whether the single will also appear on Adam's debut album.
