這的確是個可以繼續探討的例子。
是不太清楚物理學，化學或者醫學實驗之類的實驗方式。
比如說要多少次成功結果之類的，然後什麼有效性之類的。
呃，以後學到比較清楚時，再來比較好了。
物理學家在文化研究上的實驗，其實是很有創意的。
實驗如果不只一次，結果如果可以累積，
實驗紀錄之後分析起來，很難說不會在物理學和文化研究之間，
創新出什麼理論的。
這可能比簡單的一個 unfortunately
來得比較更具有物理學教授的研究精神吧。
(呃....不太懂物理，也不認識這位教授，就是硬著頭皮先敢想了)
