Senior scout at Arsenal, Gilles Grimandi has seen the pair in action and has given Arsene Wenger the thumbs up. Unsurprisingly for Wenger signings, both players are teenagers with bags of potential. Di Maria is currently in Canada with the Argentina Under 20’s squad, helping his team into the semi-finals. He has impressed in the tournament so far, scoring twice in four appearances. It is understood that Arsenal have made a deal with his current club, Rosario Central but in circumstances similar to those that saw young Mexican Carlos Vela acquisitioned by the Gunners, the left-winger will first be loaned to Salamanca. Due to not meeting the criteria for obtaining a British work-permit, Arsenal will use the Spanish club as a stepping-stone before eventually bringing Da Silva to the Emirates. The club is also thought to be close to signing Figueirense’s Brazilian forward Pedro Silva. The 17-year-old is also likely to join Salamanca for a season before joining Arsenal, who he impressed during a recent trial. -- 所以天使跟Vela會在同一隊喔 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.112.114.15
