Goal.com http://0rz.tw/UyQOb Ustari Returns To Getafe Training After Six Month Lay-Off The Argentine will soon be back on his feet after a long spell out... Getafe goalkeeper, Oscar Ustari has returned to training today after nearly a six month lay-off with injury. AS reports that Ustari, who was injured last August when playing with the Argentina national team, trained alongside goalkeeping coach, Juan Carlos Arevalo this morning, and did so without any signs of trouble. Ustari, who is the most expensive signing in the history of Getafe, completed the session and did not have any problems in doing so. In less than a week, it will be six months since his broke his knee playing against the Netherlands, and it has been a hard road back for him. After an inconsistent first season with the club, where he was remembered more for his errors than saves, he was competing with Roberto Abbondanzieri for the number 1 jersey. Now that his compatriot is gone, he will be competing with new signing Vladimir Stojkovic, as well as Jacobo Sanz. Ustari will certainly have to prove plenty to coach Victor Munoz if he is to become first choice at the club again, but with his recovery road still long, he has plenty of time to do so. Getafe take on Atletico Madrid this weekend and will be looking to reverse the scoreline when they met earlier in the season, which was 2-1 in favour of the Champions League outfit.
