SKY的新聞 Lehmann laid low by flu By Rob Lancaster - Created on 12 Nov 2006 Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has had to withdraw from Germany's squad to face Cyprus due to flu. The 37-year-old was forced to rule himself out of international duty after missing The Gunners' 3-0 win over Liverpool on Sunday. Coach Joachim Low has called up Hannover's Robert Enke as a replacement for Wednesday's Euro 2008 qualifier in Nicosia. Timo Hildebrand is expected to start in goal. As well as missing Lehmann, Germany will have to do without Bayern Munich striker Lukas Podolski. In his absence, Mike Hanke and Oliver Neuville are battling it out to partner Miroslav Klose in attack. Midfielders Bernd Schneider, who hurt his knee in action at the weekend, and Piotr Trochowski (achilles) are also injury doubts. Both players will meet up with the rest of the squad in Frankfurt but will not travel to Cyprus if they are not fit enough to play. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.224.46.100
