Arsene Wenger insists he is not worried that the Arsenal supporters are
showing their frustration with the team and has again asked to be judged at
the end of the season.

教授:哈哈 球迷哪會不爽 反正一切都等到季末再說吧

The Gunners have failed to fire in recent weeks and, after four games without
a goal in the league, the fans growing increasingly unhappy with the side as
Champions League qualification looks more and more difficult.

最近起周槍手破門乏術 都是名副其實的: (放)槍(好)手 已經連續四場(共五場)進不了球
球迷是嚕來嚕不song  這支球隊看來離歐冠越來越遠

However, Wenger insists he still has faith in his squad and has called on his
players to prove the doubters wrong.

然而 教授說 免環陋啦 溫依定ㄟ貼丟租ㄍㄟ啦 球員們趕快去證明所有的懷疑都是抹黑啦

Asked whether the fans were losing faith in the side, he said: “I don’t
know. That is not my worry.

至於球迷是否失去信心呢?

“What is important is that I do what I believe is right and we keep going,
that we show great attitude and do our job as well as we can, then let
everybody judge and have an opinion.

重要的是 教授是對的

“I believe it’s not the biggest problem, not the biggest worry. The biggest
worry is that we don’t win games that we should win.

我相信這不是最大的問題 不是最大的擔憂 最大的擔心是我們沒有贏下該贏的比賽…

“We have been through difficult times, but it’s an opportunity to show that
we are strong enough to come through it.”

我們已經經歷的最艱苦的時期 但這是個機會讓我們展示我們足夠強大去應付這些

He added: “I feel the players are showing enough desire but, when you don’t
get results, the first thing people always doubt is the desire.

教授補充:我認為球員的表現出足夠的飢渴 當你沒有達成應有的結果 人們懷疑的第一件

“I want to win the games and, when we don’t win the games, it’s
disappointing.

我想贏下比賽 當我們沒有贏得比賽 這真是讓人喪心

“You know how much I want to get into the Champions League. For me, it is
not important – it is vital – but you can only play your games and try to
win them.

你知道我有多渴望進入歐冠 對我而言 這不止是重要 而是必須的(重要到關係到我會不
會成為失業勞工) 但你只能努力踢好比賽 然後試著去贏得比賽

“I want to be in the Champions League because it’s the best I can be. If I’
m not then I’m not happy – it’s as simple as that.

我想參加歐冠 因為這是最高水準的賽事
如果不能參加 我就會不爽 我若是不爽 我就會想要報仇 我若是報仇下去
…下一個會死哪個球員 連我自己都不知道 就這麼簡單

“You don’t play football to be average. I don’t manage in the game to be
average, and the players want to play at the top.”

我們不想踢的很平庸 我並沒有使比賽變的平庸 球員們都想要在最高水平上踢球

The 0-0 draw at home to Fulham was the latest disappointing result and
Cottagers midfielder Danny Murphy believes Wenger’s current squad is lacking
a cutting edge.

在主場與Fulham踢了一場令人失望的林志玲 Fulham中場Danny Murphy認為教授缺乏制勝
的關鍵

Fulham beat Arsenal at Craven Cottage earlier this season and, with Cesc
Fabregas and Emmanuel Adebayor injured this time around, Murphy believes they
could have taken another three points at Emirates Stadium.

He said: “I have been watching them a lot recently and what they do is play
a lot of pretty football but don’t have that cutting edge they once had with
the likes of Henry or, since then, Fabregas and Adebayor, who are two big

“With those two not playing, you feel you have more of a chance, like with
any team when you miss your best players.

沒有小法跟阿德 你會覺得你有更多的機會 就像任何失去的最佳球員的球隊

“If ever there was a chance then it’s this one and, even though we’re
happy with a point, there’s a sense of disappointment as the lads thought
there was a chance to go on and win it.”

那些天真的小朋友們本來以為他們會贏的 這個令他們失望的結果應該教育了他們社會殘
酷的一面 哈哈 不過我們倒是對得到這一分很高興
