Arsene Wenger has revealed yet more injury concerns as his depleted Arsenal
side prepare to travel to Everton on Saturday.
Lukasz Fabianski and Johan Djourou have been added to Wenger's injury list
which already included the likes of Theo Walcott, Samir Nasri and Tomas
Rosicky.

No.2 keeper Fabianski has undergone surgery on his troublesome knee injury,
while defender Johan Djourou will also miss the start of the season through a
knee injury.
"We have some problems," Wenger told Arsenal TV Online.
"We have Theo Walcott, who is not available. [Abou] Diaby has a little groin
problem, but he could be available.

"[Also] we have lost Johan Djourou and Lukasz Fabianski because they had
injuries.
"Lukasz had a cartilage surgery. He will be out for two months. Johan has a
knee problem that will take some time to cure - one month.

"Thomas Vermaelen played 45 minutes for Belgium last night and came through
okay so he will be available."
Wenger feels both Rosicky and Nasri are rehabilitating well and expects to
have the former back in action within two weeks as the Gunners seek to end
their trophy drought this season.

"Tomas Rosicky is two weeks away," said Wenger. "Samir Nasri [has been out]
three-and-a-half weeks now, but it will be six or seven weeks until he is

Wenger said: “We have had a look at Hangeland, yes. It’s always difficult
to say anything because we have not contacted Fulham, not contacted
Hangeland, not made our choice on him or anybody else.

comment will raise the stakes especially as the Gunners can offer Champions
League football.
Wenger remains on the trail of Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh, with the
French club turning down the Gunners’ latest ￡7.5m bid.

The Arsenal boss expects to get his man for around ￡9m but hinted that
former skipper Patrick Vieira would not be returning to the club.
He added: “At the moment there is nothing with Vieira.
