Walcott ready for biggest game

"We're looking forward to it, it's going to be a great, great battle," Walcott
said.

"It's one of the games you want to play in and hopefully the result can be
different from last year [when the Gunners crashed out 6-3 on aggregate].

"I believe we can do much better than last season; we can't do worse to be
honest.

"It's going to be an open game but these days when we lose the ball we try to
get it back quicker.

"That's what we did against Chelsea and Manchester City and hopefully we can
take that into the Barcelona game because it's a massive one this season, the
biggest one I'm going to play in."

Walcott was on target when Arsenal entertained Barcelona last season but,
having stepped off the bench on that occasion, he is hoping to make an even
greater impact this time around.

"As a substitute you want to make a reaction straight away and I think I
surprised them with my pace," he added to Arsenal TV.

"There's only so long they could last for, they lasted for about 70 minutes
but they couldn't last 90 minutes.

"I think I surprised Maxwell, came up behind him and tucked it away. That
inspired us to get the result we wanted [a 2-2 draw] and I want to be doing
that from the starting line-up now."

Bendtner - We can beat Barca

"We have to fancy our chances this time because we can beat anyone on our
day. We have shown that," Bendtner said.

"I would like to think we are one of the few teams that can match Barcelona
for pure football skill, but you have to give a lot of credit to them for the
way they are always so positive.

"We know they are magnificent, an unbelievable team, but we have great
players as well - and the way we play is very similar to them. We pass the
ball like them so we must have a chance.

"There are two or three players in our team who would have a chance of
getting into the Barcelona side, I feel sure about that, and all the lads are
fired up to make sure we play to our potential. If we do that we have a
chance, especially at the Emirates."

Massive game

And the Gunners man knows Arsene Wenger's side cannot simply focus on
stopping the Argentina international, such is the wealth of talent on show in
the Catalan club's squad.

He added: "Messi is the best player in the world - he scores all the time and
no one can match him.

"But they have so many great players and, when you go through their team,
there is not one player who you would say is not world class so we know it is
going to be a really tough game.

"You see how they play and it is a pure joy all the time. They are on a great
run and it's going to be a massive game. But the key thing this time is that
we will hopefully have a more or less full squad.

"Any team needs their best players against a side as good as Barcelona and we
are no different. This time I can promise it will be a different game - it
was pleasing to score in the Nou Camp last time but I want the feeling of
scoring and winning."

小法遲早會重返諾坎普，迪亞比日前公開表示對巴薩的好感，盛傳納斯里也想加盟巴薩，
本特納承認道：「我們球隊的確有2、3個球員有機會加盟夢巴薩，我對此很肯定，我們所
有球員都發誓要確保踢出我們全部潛力，如果我們做到，我們就肯定有機會，特別是在酋
長球場。」

上賽季對巴薩，現在狀態火熱的范佩西因傷兩回合都缺陣，小法則因為停賽無緣次回合的
1-4大敗，但如今這兩大核心都健康地參加了昨晚2-0屠狼的比賽，本賽季發揮最出色的納
斯里也有望及時復出，除了維爾馬倫，阿森納有望派出最強陣出戰，這也是如今本特納信
心十足的原因：「任何球隊都需要他們最強的球星在陣，特別是在面對像巴薩這樣一支球
隊時，對紐卡斯爾的比賽是一個打擊，但我們已經證明我們可以馬上反彈，這次我可以肯
定是一場不同的比賽，上次在諾坎普進球讓我很高興，但我這次想要進球並且贏球的感覺
。」

本特納也知道巴薩並非只有梅西一個巨星；「梅西是世界上最好的球員，他總是能夠進球
，沒人可以比得上他，但他們還有其他巨星，當你巡視他們球隊，你不能說沒有誰不是世
界級的球員，因此我們知道這將是一場非常艱苦的比賽。」
