The Astros are debating whether or not to put closer Brad Lidge on the disabled list. He has been diagnosed with a strained muscle near his right elbow and is taking medication. He has been unavailable to pitch since feeling a pinch in his right elbow while long tossing last Sunday. Team officials are publicly downplaying their level of concern. They hope he'll show up, say, today and be ready to go. But they have to be extremely worried given Lidge's history of health problems in the minor leagues. Long before he became one of baseball's most dominant closers, there was real concern whether he'd ever make it or not because his shoulder kept blowing up. http://blogs.chron.com/sportsjustice/ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.167.231.87
