Lidge still out
Closer Brad Lidge, who hasn't pitched since June 24 because of a strained
muscle in his right biceps, threw off flat ground Sunday and plans to throw
a bullpen session today at Minute Maid Park.
"My arm felt real good, so that's a real encouraging sign for me," Lidge
said. "I just need to take it to the next level, and I hope when I do that
I'll feel good. That's what we'll be testing out (today)."
Manager Phil Garner said Lidge would be unavailable until Tuesday at the
earliest.
"We'll reassess how he feels (today)," he said.
