石頭悖論恐怕沒有這麼簡單吧。

單單訴諸modality並不使問題獲得解決, 你必需引入其它的metaphysical principle,
你這裡講的「若假設上帝是全能的，那祂當然可以造出一塊他舉不起的石頭，但
祂沒有造啊，所以，所有石頭都是他舉得起的。」並沒有解決問題,
用你喜歡的modal logic來講, God can create that stone,
你認為這裡的can要用modality理解, 那也就是:
there is a possible world in which God creates that stone,
因此there is a possible world in which God creates a stone which he
cannot lift.
因此, there is a possible world in what there is a stone that God cannot lift,
因此, there is a possible world in which God has something he cannot do.
如果God is omnipotent means 'Necessarily God can do everything',
i.e. in every possible world God can do everything,
那這裡是有矛盾的。
要避開這矛盾, 你只能認為God is omnipotent
只imply 'God can actually do everything'
並不imply 'Necessarily God can do everything',
也就是說, 你這裡的全能只有那些actual thing可以做, 而不能做possible thing,
換言之, 你需要一個原則:「God can only do actual things」,
也就是是說, if something had not happened actually, God cannot do it,
這大概與信徒要的全能小很多吧, 而且似乎你會commit你所不想要的一個推論:
if something is not actual, it is not possible,
contraposition: if something is possible, then it is actual,
也就是從 possible 推出 actual,這是你後面自己認為是錯誤的推論。
