Outlook:
Those poor, cash-strapped A's.
They traded off two members of the Big Three and are headed straight for the
AL West cellar, right?
Not exactly.
Zito could use a return to form, but Harden will blossom into a star.
The bottom three youngsters have outstanding minor league credentials and
should be at least adequate for 2005.
The vastly improved bullpen will help a great deal considering A's starters
led the league in innings pitched last year.
