標題[新聞] A's acquire RHP Wuertz from Cubs

OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA (TICKER) —The Oakland Athletics on Friday acquired
righthander Michael Wuertz from the Chicago Cubs for outfielder Richie Robnett
and infielder Justin Sellers.
Wuertz, 30, was 1-1 with a 3.63 ERA in 45 relief appearances with the Cubs last
year. Over his five-year career, Wuertz has compiled a 13-7 record with one
save and a 3.57 ERA in 265 relief appearances for the Cubs.
Robnett, 25, hit .256 with 58 home runs and 252 RBI in 449 minor league games
in the Athletics’system.
Sellers, 23, spent the entire 2008 season at Class AA Midland, batting .255
with six home runs and 46 RBI.
