PS- 長榮好像越來越不向CAE 採買相關設備了. 這次選了加商Mechtronix.
幾個月前的A320/773ER 則選了英商Thales.

復興航空不曉得以後會不會向長榮租借相關飛行模擬設備? 呵呵, 不然好像還要
跑到東航去操作飛行模擬訓練.

Mechtronix today announced that Taiwanese carrier UNI Air, a subsidiary of EVA
Air, has taken delivery of a Flat Panel Trainer™ (FPT™) configured for the
ATR 72-600 aircraft.

The delivery complements the contract signed by UNI Air with European
regional turboprop manufacturer ATR to purchase 10 new ATR 72-600s in
September 2011 that are expected to arrive in Taiwan in the next month
replacing UNI Air’s existing fleet of Bombardier Q300s and MD-90s.

The Mechtronix ATR 72-600 Flat Panel Trainer™ training device provides users
with a 2D graphical representation (via touch panel displays) of the actual
aircraft flight deck systems and avionics displays, panels and instruments
with 3D hardware FMS CDUs and Autoflight control panels.

The FPT™ is suitable for use as a ground and flight procedures trainer and
is capable of teaching most normal and abnormal procedures as the software is
the same as that used in Mechtronix Level D ATR72-600 Full Flight Simulators,
allowing for an exceptional high fidelity.
