標題[新聞] 印度航空將拋售5架B777-200LR

看到nyrnu大分享了印度的航空新聞,
來看看另一篇一樣有點老梗的新聞吧。
一樣重點整理了一下。
1.經過至少4次努力而無法將77L出租之後,印度航空決定出售旗下的77L。
2.AI表示: 由於這些飛機因配置的關係座位較少,所以沒有人想要租她們。
3.要處理這幾架77L其實AI有很多套劇本,可以賣掉她,改艙,也可以請(ㄠ)波音幫忙。
4.這批77L在AI陣中一直無三小路用,特別是當787交機了之後,787可以做她的工作。
5.AI一共訂了27架787,在上週787已經完成了長程處女航FRA線。
6.當初AI買77L,就是為了要飛美國航線,但"美"夢已逝...。
7.為了飛長程航線,這批77L只配置了235席,以提供舒適的乘坐環境,但策略似乎無效。

Air India offers five Boeing 777s for sale

MUMBAI: Unable to find a home for its Boeing 777-200LRs after it invited
bids at least four times for the aircraft, state-owned carrier Air India, on
Friday, said that it would be putting five of those aircraft up for sale now.
Air India chairman and managing director Rohit Nandan had told ET that the
airline was contemplating such a move as other airlines do not show interest
in leasing the aircraft. The airline has elicited little response due to its
configuration that offers less seats.
"With the B-777s, we have many options. We can sell them or reconfigure
them. We are also seeking Boeing's help in the process," Nandan told ET.
The airline does not have much use for the aircraft as it has now started
taking deliveries of Boeing 787 or the Dreamliner. The airline has so far got
three (out of 27 it ordered) Dreamliners in its fleet. It launched its maiden
long-haul flight to Frankfurt on the Dreamliner last week.
Air India has seven 777 LRs in its fleet which were primarily ordered to fly
long routes to the US. But, Air India could not work out a route strategy to
use these aircraft optimally and now is faced with no other option but to get
rid of the aircraft. Most of Air India losses on the US routes have been
attributed to this aircraft type.
Also, Air India configured these aircraft against the usual configuration of
about 290 seats. Instead, Air India offered 235 seats to allow for more
passenger comfort as the aircraft would fly long-haul routes. But, the
strategy did not work.
Air India offers these aircraft in 'as is' condition and the bid closure date
is November 16.

說真的這批飛機空降台灣,
大概都比某航剛改過的長程主力機還讚,

但重點是這批飛機已經交付多年了,(反觀...)
某航要不要趁週年慶檔期乾脆買進來免改艙直接競爭TPE-JFK算了(誤)。
另外會不是是印度旅客比較喜歡某航,
AI把飛機弄得太高檔反而不合市場需求(大誤)。
