Incident: Emirates A388 at Tokyo on Oct. 21st, 2012, Asymmetric Flaps.

An Emirates Airbus A380-800, registration A6-EDC performing flight
EK-319 from Tokyo Narita (Japan) to Dubai (United Arab Emirates),
was in the initial climb out of Narita Airport's runway 34L when
the crew could not retract the flaps with the flaps becoming asymmetric
and disabled. The crew levelled off at 7,000 feet, dumped fuel and
returned to Narita Airport. A first approach to runway 34L was aborted
at low height (about 400 feet AGL) due to changing winds, the aircraft
positioned for another approached and landed safely on runway 16R at a
higher than normal speed about 70 minutes after departure, vacated the
runway and taxied to the apron, where as result of overheated brakes 11
tyres deflated.

The flight was cancelled.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Tokyo about 32 hours after landing.

不過，依據個人的經驗，我強烈的認為應該還要再加入第四樣：打鐵的腦袋。

→ Chiardy:應該是偵測到角度不對稱，就自動停止收放了。
推 svuper:是最大落地重外加max brake嗎? 剎車過熱到輪胎都自動洩氣囉
推 bbcar:從影片看來,16R下來後似乎跑道也用了不少!但安全降落最重要!
