不知道台灣有沒有需要ETOPS 120的航線適合ATR72-600來飛 EASA grants ETOPS approval for ATR -600 series Jun. 7, 2013 Alan Dron The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has granted ATR ETOPS 120-minute certification for its new -600 series aircraft. This is the second boost for the Franco-Italian turboprop manufacturer this week, which also received EASA approval to operate the aircraft in take-off and landing temperatures down to -45°C. The latest certification gives the ATR 42-600 and ATR 72-600 official sanction to fly with one engine for up to 120 minutes from any airport at which they can land. It means the new variants can provide direct links between airports located up to four flight hours apart (two hours maximum flight time from the departure airport plus two hours maximum flight time to the closest airport where they can land safely). According to ATR, the -42 and -72 are the only regional turboprop aircraft to hold this 120-minute certification, which is particularly important for airlines in remote areas such as French Polynesia or Siberia, where the distances between suitable airports can be up to 2,000 kilometers.
