空重約174~178公噸
四顆發動機 每顆推力約234~244 kN
載客366~412 in 3 classes configuration
A340早期約在1980年代開發 (prototype TA9, TA11)
主要是和早期B747作競爭
long haul, wide body, 四發設計
和A330同時開發
早期A342/A343
空重 121/130公噸
載客 三艙等 300/335恩人
引擎推力153 kN 大約
一般評價都說A342/343爬升率慢 無力
看帳面數據 確實也是
只是很好奇
1980年代開始開發 引擎技術應該比1960年代來得成熟 推力更大
但是 為什麼當初引擎選擇 推力輸出要設定在這麼低?
直到A345/6 275 kN 才能稍微彌補帳面不足
