│ spheres of society overlap? There is reason to believe
│ that the degree of overlap between political and │
│ economic decision making has immediate consequences │

│ The desired method is social network analysis,which is the │
▇ ultimate tool for investigating relations between social actors. │
˙ n 2007, we interviewed decision makers in politics, business and │
． civil society in four municipalities in West-Sweden. The initial │
│ phase of the coding has just been completed and this is the first│
│ presentation based on these data. In the presentation I will │
│ discuss three aspects that are at the heart of the project; │
│ theories of the elite and especially elite integration, some
│ key concepts of network analysis, and the main challenges ■
│ we faced in the empirical investigation. □□□
