關於 Pippen 傾向退休的消息曾出現在 Portland Tribune

我還是問了 Jim，以下是他的答覆

It is too soon to know if Scottie is serious about possibly
retiring. I think he needs some time to rest and heal, and
as we get closer to training camp we will learn if he indeed
intents to retire or continue playing. I'm guessing that the
Tribune interview was conducted immediately after the season
ended and before Scottie left for his summer home in Florida,
so I would say he has not had eno gh time to decide what he
will do next season. My guess is that he will play, but only
Scottie knows for sure, and the Tribune story certainly leads
people to believe that he may have played his las game. If
so, that is sad.

不過 Portland Tribune 的專訪應該是在對小牛的系列戰剛結束時進行的
後來老皮的態度有轉變~~ 傾向於再打個一兩季
