Carlisle has signed with the Portland Trail Blazers,
filling the roster spot of Richie Frahm, who was
placed on the injured list earlier this week. Carlisle
was released just prior to the start of the 2004-05
campaign after spending training camp with the Blazers.
He will serve as a backup.
