Blazers buy No. 27
Paul Allen is throwing some cash around today, first handing the T-Wolves an
undisclosed amount to swap draft positions, and then out and out buying the
No. 27 pick from Phoenix, who picked Spanish point guard Sergio Rodriguez on
behalf of the Blazers.
He comes with the best nickname in the draft: Spanish Chocolate.
Most assume he's a guy who will remain overseas for a year or so, but at this
point that's pure speculation.
Still waiting to hear what the team has in store with pick No. 30, which is
about to be announced....
