Doctors have "strongly advised" that Brandon Roy (heel) wear an orthopedic
boot for at least another two weeks, possibly three.
If Roy has to keep the boot on for the full additional three weeks, he will
have missed at least 16 games. That could push his return date back to
Friday, Dec. 15 against the Clippers. This news definitely hurts Roy's Rookie
of the Year chances. Martell Webster will likely continue to start in his
absence.
