Outlaw on Courtside Tonight
We'll have a tough time topping last week's guest list for tonight's edition
of Trail Blazers Courtside, but we'll do our best. For many of you who have
been asking for more on Travis Outlaw's off-season, we can give you that.
Outlaw will be a guest (scheduled to be live in studio) on the show tonight,
which airs from 6pm until 8 on the Blazers Radio Network, and can be heard
locally on 95.5 FM The Game.
After sitting out for about a week with an infection in his knee, Outlaw is
back in action during the pre-training camp pick-up games at the team's
practice facility in Tualatin. Every Trail Blazer, with the exception of Rudy
Fernandez, is in town and working out. Fernandez is expected to arrive in
Portland on Monday (I was wrong earlier- I listened to Rice. I know, I
know....) and hopefully will be getting some court time shortly after. We'll
try and get him on the show as soon as possible, once he arrives and gets
settled.

The pick-up games continued on Wednesday, and I can tell you that the games
are getting better with each passing day. Most of these guys are in game
shape already, while others are taking it a little more slowly. LaMarcus
Aldridge sat out of Wednesday's games after tweaking an ankle on Tuesday.
But, it was nothing serious, and he's expected to be back on the floor today.

Greg Oden continues to impress everyone, and played in about six games on
Wednesday before taking off to a community appearence. A guy who has also
been incredibly impressive has been Jerryd Bayless, and that continued
Wednesday. He had several vicious dunks, with one of them coming off a lob
pass, in traffic, from Sergio Rodriguez. I knew Bayless was explosive, but I
can't say that I expected him to be able to rise above the rim as easily as
he does.

As you know, there is one roster spot available, and the competition for this
spot is going to be interesting. Steven Hill, Luke Jackson, and Shavlik
Randolph all look very good. Randolph, who spent his first three years with
Philadelphia, has played well. Hill, who starred for Portland's summer league
team, is an NBA player, and is a very likable guy. And, of course, there's
still a chance Portland could decide to extend an offer to Shaun Livingston,
who is in town being evaluated. I have not seen this process up close, but I
can tell you they're continuing to investigate.
大家知道，陣容部分還有最後一個空位，競爭這個位子也相當的有趣。Steven Hill,
Luke Jackson, 和 Shavlik Randolph看起來都非常好。Randolph，他在費城打了三年，
表現不錯。Hill，在夏季聯盟裡面擔任主角，是一個NBA等級的球員，相當有機會。當然
，還有一個機會，拓荒者有機會簽下之前來測試的Livingston。我還沒看到這部分的程序
，但我相信他們還在研究當中。
The broadcast schedule has now been announced. Just like last year, we'll be
broadcasting 76 regular-season games, with the other six being exclusively on
TNT. We can't broadcast against TNT for a minimum of six games, and then can
do the rest. The Blazers will be on TNT a total of eight times, and will be
on ESPN five times. Those five on ESPN will also be broadcast on the Blazers
Television Network. Also, 40 games this season will be broadcast in HD (in
addition to the TNT and ESPN games), and that number will continue to climb,
of course.
We're also set to televise one pre-season game, and that'll be the October
8th home game against Golden State. Amazingly, that's less than three weeks
away.
