As far as Miller goes, he said he got confirmation from multiple sources that
the Miller S&T is not happening.
Roy's contract should be announce any day now.
Toronto is likely to bow out of the race for Hedo because in order to offer
him the 60 mil, they'd have to renounce 5 players, including Shawn Marion.
They apparently did that last season to do the O'Neal trade and it blew up in
their face. All in all, it looks like the Blazers are the only team left in
the race for Hedo.
As far as a follow up trade after signing Hedo, look for the Blazers to move
one of their SF's. FWIW, Pritchard and McMillan now consider Outlaw to be a
pure PF. The team likes Blake, but as a backup. They might not be totally
sold that Bayless is ready for backup minutes yet.
And he really made it clear he thinks the Rudy rumor is BS. He talked to
someone who's been around him all week (likely Casey Holdal) and he said that
Rudy has been nothing but upbeat and positive. He doesn't see how Hedo
effects Rudy at all. He said he's 97% sure it's all garbage.
