Porter Discussing Return To Portland
Aug 26, 2009 3:36 PM EST
Terry Porter has had two sit-down meetings with Portland president Larry
Miller.
Porter told the Portland Tribune that the two meetings "have been good, but
very preliminary."
He isn't sure what type of role he'd have with the Trail Blazers, but the
front office appears to be the most likely destination.
"If it's with the Blazers, my preference would be to do something that is
meaningful for both sides," Porter said. "The front office would be great,
but we'll have to wait and see."
For now, Porter will serve as an "ambassador" for the Blazers, as Jerome
Kersey has in the past couple of years.
