A month ago, I was ready to declare the Trail Blazers' signing of guard
Andre Miller last summer a mistake.
And if everyone can be honest for a minute, so too were some pretty big names
within the organization.
Management wondered if Miller's introverted nature would fit the Blazers'
culture. There were concerns among the coaching staff whether Miller was a
cancer. And there were doubts among the players whether his style would fit
what the Blazers needed.
Even Miller wondered if this was the right place for him.
一個月前，我(作者)已經打算要說簽下A米是個錯誤。說實話，有些上層也是這麼想的。

But after a 30-minute argument with coach Nate McMillan on Jan.7, we have
witnessed one of the greatest about-faces by a player in team history.
With a new attitude off the court, and a new approach on it, Miller in
January has exhibited the best point guard play Portland has seen since Rod
Strickland was shaking and baking his way to 20-assist games in the mid-1990s.
In January, Miller is averaging 19.5 points, 7.5 assists, 4.3 rebounds and is
shooting 51.3 percent. He has done it with such style, tenacity and guile
that I would venture he has vaulted alongside Brandon Roy as the team's most
popular players among Blazers Nation.
但在和Nate的"溝通"過後，A米成了隊史上絕佳的出來面對者之一，而我們都是見證者。

In fact, Miller has been so good recently that general manager Kevin
Pritchard on Saturday made this declaration:
"We have no interest in trading Andre Miller. Zero. None. Write it."

Miller's agent, Andy Miller (no relation), visited with his client last week
in Philadelphia, then talked to him Saturday morning by phone when Andre was
in Detroit.
He said he noticed distinct and positive changes in Miller's attitude, while
also catching encouraging vibes from the organization, which last summer
signed Miller to a two-year, $14 million contract with an option for a third
year.
"Maybe it's later than everyone would have hoped, but clearly everything has
come together," Andy Miller said. "This is where we should have been in
October -- it wouldn't have been as interesting writing for you -- but all
the pent-up frustrations, all the misinterpretations and misjudgments, it's
righted itself."
A米的經紀人(經紀人也叫A米 XD)在和A米聊過後，也發現他也受到阿拓的好氣氛而
積極正向的改變。
經紀人表示"或許遲了點，但現在一切都明顯變好了。所有的沮喪和誤解都煙消雲散了。"
