Blazers traded the No. 44 pick for the No. 34 pick

The Trail Blazers made their first trade of the offseason Monday morning,
moving up 10 spots in the second round of the NBA draft.

The Blazers dealt the No. 44 overall pick of the draft and cash
considerations to the Golden State Warriors for the No. 34 overall pick.

It could be the start of an active week for the Blazers, who made 16 trades
on or near draft day the previous four years.

The Blazers now hold the Nos. 22 and 34 picks of the draft, which takes place
Thursday at Madison Square Garden.
