summer league明天就要開始打了
這是最近兩三天有關他們對Summer League的發言外電
我節錄一些重點
首先是 Mills
"It was bad timing what happened last year and I think it's still hurting me
today," he said. "I feel like I'm two steps behind where I should be. But I
really appreciate this chance and I'm ready. I didn't get much of a shot last
year to show what I can do, so that's what makes this week so exciting. I'm
looking for a chance."
''去年的受傷，讓我覺得自己落後了兩大步。去年我並沒有多少機會去展現我的能力，而
我現在已經準備好了，所以這星期一定會很有趣，我希望能得到一個機會。''
Mills的自信可能來自於今年球季後他和澳洲國家隊一起訓練，他在北京奧運時還是個替
補，而現在他已經是國家隊的先發了。在和阿根廷的三場對戰練習賽中的最後一場，他
得了32分。
他開訓後的表現讓教練團和隊友都讚賞他，Jeff這樣說:
"I've seen a lot more out of him this week," Pendergraph said. "He's not a
practice player anymore. He's running the team, talking to all the guys,
making sure everybody's going and in the right spot. He's doing his thing and
he's doing it well. I'm not really surprised. He had to do it with the
national team."
但Mills知道阿拓需要的不只是個很會得分的後衛
"I've needed to be more of a scorer on some of the teams I've played on,"
Mills said. "But we've got a number of guys here that can score the ball and
if I want a spot on the Blazers, I'm going to need to show that I can be a
pure point guard and distribute the ball. So that's one thing I've worked on
both the national team and here. I think I've been doing an all right job."
I'm ready to show it off now," Mills said, smiling.

接著是 Jeff 的部份
在球季後，Jeff將自己努力的重點設定在，改善中距離以及禁區內的左手進攻
同時他也有做改善運球的訓練
"I'm trying to dominate, man," he said. I want to dominate summer league. I
want to come back when we have training camp and kick butt in training camp
and push everybody. I want to get better. I want to make our guys better.
I want to do what I can do to help us get over that hump that we seem to hit
in the playoffs.
Pendergraph says he intends to leave Las Vegas, where the Blazers will play
five games in eight days, as the summer league MVP.

"I want to make it look like I shouldn't be out there playing," he said.

said, smirking. "That's what dominate means. People should be asking, 'Why is
he playing in summer league right now? ... That's my mentality going in.
These guys are good, of course. But I've guarded the best. I've played
against the Dwight Howards, the Shaqs. I've guarded All-Stars. These guys are
summer league guys."

。不再只是灌籃或者空檔中距離'' 他開玩笑的說打算在下周的比賽投進一顆三分球
當被問到阿拓擁擠的球員陣容時，他說我不知道，你們該去問Coach Nate，我把重心
放在眼前的summer league
"I'm looking to kick everybody's butt."
