阿拓正式顧用三位新的助理教練
Bernie Bickerstaff, Bob Ociepka and Buck Williams
前兩位上一季都是公牛的助理教練
Buck Williams則是曾經的偉大阿拓球員 同時應該也會負責長人教練的部份
The Trail Blazers announced Monday that Nate McMillan has finalized his
coaching staff, hiring Bernie Bickerstaff, Bob Ociepka and Buck Williams.
Agreement with the new assistants was reached last week with only final
contract details to be worked out.
Williams is one of the Blazers' all-time greats, ranking No. 7 on The
Oregonian's list of best Blazers. Bickerstaff and McMillan have a long
association dating back to McMillan's playing days in Seattle. Ociepka and
Bickerstaff were assistants in Chicago last season.
The new coaches replace Monty Williams, who became the head coach of New
Orleans; Maurice Lucas, who retired because of illness; and Dean Demopoulos
and Joe Prunty, whose contracts were not renewed. Bill Bayno and Kaleb
Canales were retained.
