[外電] Trail Blazers to invite four players to training camp

On the virtual eve of training camp, the Trail Blazers are poised to make
multiple roster moves — just not the ones you might anticipate.

The Blazers are expected to sign as many as four players to training camp
contracts before the team begins two-a-day practices Tuesday morning,
potentially elevating the training camp roster to 19 players. One of the
invites has local connections.

Seth Tarver, who graduated from Jesuit High School in Portland and Oregon
State University, is one of three players the Blazers have all but locked to
bring into camp. Tarver, who’s father John played running back in the NFL,
is an athletic 6-foot-5 forward who was named the Pac-10 Defensive Player of
the Year as a senior.

The Blazers also will bring in Dwight Lewis, a 6-5 shooting guard from USC,
and Raymond Sykes, a 6-9 forward from Clemson who played in the NBA
Development League last season.

One more player — a guard who played in the Atlantic Coast Conference —
 also could receive a training camp invitation.

Point guard Patty Mills, who played for the Blazers as a rookie last season
and on their summer league team in July, is not expected to be a part of
camp. The Blazers issued Mills a qualifying contract offer over the summer,
but he has not signed it.

Here's Mitchell's Draft Express profile. He's a 28 year old shooting guard
who led the Los Angeles D-Fenders in scoring by averaging 18.6 points per
game in his most recent D-League stint. He played in Israel last season.


簡單的說 就是拓荒者簽了四個新球員來訓練營
Seth Tarver     6-5的前鋒
Dwight Lewis    6-5的SG
Raymond Sykes   6-9的前鋒
Dwayne Mitchell 6-3的SG
(結果大概都會變成來打工的??因為本來15人名單就已經額滿了)
正常操作啦 通常都會多找人來測試 也提供這些球員一個爭取曝光的機會

還有 Mills 估計不會來訓練營報到了
之前球隊開給他的QO他也沒接受 直接說再見了吧
