And you know what the very common situation in this field is?
For ecologists, especially "field" ecologists, and particularly
"tropical" ecologists, the life style is tend to be very unstable.
We spend so much time far away in the field, therefore it's very very
diffult to manage a relationship which's either distant or stable.
So yeah a lot of people in my field are single, or divorced. Or your choices
and chances will be so narrowed down, pretty much people in the same field.
